Introducing the First Inflatable Dive Tank Holder

Tank Titan Installation & Use

Insert air pump hose into top of inflation valve (1).  Pump up until a firm feel is established (about 10-15 pumps). WARNING: DO NOT OVERINFLATE OR UNIT MAY BE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED.  Thread on valve cap and repeat for remaining valves (see pic 1).

Insert Base Cushion Discs, push down until sitting flat at the bottom of each hole (Note: 1 disc per hole – see pic 2).

Position Tank Titan in vessel.  There are any number of locations depending on the size and configuration of each particular vessel (the stern is more stable than the bow).

Insert tanks into holes (Note: if not utilizing all the holes spread tanks out to disperse weight evenly) push tanks down until bottom of tank is securely touching the Base Cushion Disk.

Secure Tank Titan to vessel utilizing D-Ring / Support Straps (see pic 3).

Note: When using D-Ring / Support Straps excessive pressure on straps is not required.  Straps should be firmly secured to the vessel in order to stabilize, support & keep the unit from tipping over in heavy seas.

Additional securing around tank necks with bungee cords or rope is highly recommended.

After use, remove Tanks & Base Cushion Disc’s (Note: when removing tanks, step on one or two of the Step Tabs which will help stabilize the unit).  Rinse with fresh water & air or towel dry prior to folding.

Unscrew lower part of valve & squeeze unit for complete deflation.  Repeat for each valve.

Fold Tank Titan (see pic 4, 5,& 6) & place in storage bag along with air pump & Base Cushion Discs.

Store Tank Titan in a cool dry area (see pic 7).

Tank Titan Maintenance

After use, clean debris from your Tank Titan by wiping it off or spraying it with fresh water. This is especially important if it has been used in salt water, or in an area where there has been exposure to oil or gasoline. Never use harsh detergents to clean the Tank Titan. If you need more than water, use dishwashing detergent or a similarly mild cleansing agent.  Dry your Tank Titan and store it DEFLATED, in a cool, dry area.

Tank Titan Repairs

Your Tank Titan is made of very durable materials; but you may get an occasional puncture. A repair kit is included. To patch your Tank Titan, take the following steps:

1. Clean the area around the hole to remove any foreign matter. Mild detergent should suffice.
2. Cut a patch (round or oval shaped) from the patching material included in the repair kit. The patch must be somewhat larger than the hole.
3. Apply thin layer of glue to the patch and the area around the hole. Allow the glue to set on each for about 1 minute.
4. Position the patch over the hole and press down firmly on a flat surface. Remove any trapped air by rubbing the patch from the center outward.
5. Wait 24 hours to reflate your Tank Titan.
